Od miesięcy wokół Zbigniewa Ziobry narasta aura tajemnicy. Były minister sprawiedliwości nie pojawia się publicznie, a jego nieobecność budzi liczne pytania. Teraz głos zabrał jego pełnomocnik, mecenas Bartosz Lewandowski, który w środowej wypowiedzi dla mediów ujawnił kluczowe informacje o jego aktualnym miejscu pobytu i stanie zdrowia.
Mecenas Bartosz Lewandowski potwierdził, że Zbigniew Ziobro od ponad roku mieszka poza granicami Polski. Jak wyjaśnił, były minister wyjechał w związku z koniecznością leczenia nowotworu i od tego czasu pozostaje pod opieką zagranicznych specjalistów.
To właśnie oni, jak podkreślił pełnomocnik – czuwają nad tym, by nie doszło do nawrotu choroby. Lewandowski dodał, że w nowym miejscu życia polityka towarzyszy mu rodzina, a adres jego pobytu został oficjalnie przekazany Prokuraturze Krajowej.
Pan minister Ziobro nie ukrywa się. Przebywa tam, gdzie mieszka, i gdzie może kontynuować leczenie – zaznaczył adwokat.
Immunitet uchylony, decyzja Sejmu zapadła
W piątek Sejm uchylił immunitet Zbigniewa Ziobry, otwierając drogę do postawienia mu 26 zarzutów przez Prokuraturę Krajową. Sprawa dotyczy nieprawidłowości wokół Funduszu Sprawiedliwości – projektu, którym jako minister sprawiedliwości i prokurator generalny kierował przez lata. Posłowie wyrazili też zgodę na jego zatrzymanie i ewentualne tymczasowe aresztowanie.
Według ustaleń mediów, pełnomocnik Ziobry przekazał, że jego klient czasowo przebywa w Budapeszcie, a Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego ma być odpowiedzialna za ewentualne wykonanie decyzji o zatrzymaniu. Sam Ziobro miał wcześniej zaproponować, by przesłuchanie odbyło się w Brukseli lub na Węgrzech, deklarując gotowość do współpracy z organami ścigania.
