Despite being unable to partake in some of the Royal Family’s favorite activities, the Princess of Wales has reportedly attempted to treat her horse allergy through exposure.

According to reports, the Princess of Wales “doesn’t like” a pastime that Princess Anne and her own kids enjoy.

According to reports, the Princess of Wales dislikes riding horses. That is in spite of the fact that it is a royal favorite.

Princess Anne is a passionate horseback rider who even participated in the three-day competition during the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. It is also believed that Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 9, have begun riding horses. Three years ago, they borrowed a pony from Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall.

According to reports, Prince William, their father, was “thrilled” to see his kids participating in the sport. The love for horses seems to have been passed down from Queen Elizabeth II, who herself was an enthusiastic rider.

The late Queen started riding when she was just two years old and kept up her good form well into her nineties. Anne was spotted this week presenting racing awards at Ascot in Berkshire, despite being admitted to the hospital earlier this year after allegedly being kicked by a horse

As Jo Elvin of the Daily Mail put it on the Palace Confidential podcast: “I think you can’t be royal and not love horses.”

“Catherine doesn’t,” said Charlotte Griffiths, the paper’s Editor at Large. “I believe she has an allergy to horses, which is why she dislikes riding.”

Catherine has often had to miss Royal events because of her horse allergy. According to Cambridgeshire Live, Australian author Kathy Lette once revealed that Catherine’s allergies prevented her from playing polo.

At the event, Catherine allegedly admitted to Lette that she was allergic to horses. She then went on to say, “But the more time one spends with them the less allergic you become.”
