A proposal on the cards: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s sweet romance is like a k drama …

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift only went public with their romance in September – but one of the Chiefs star’s teammates already believes a proposal is on the cards.

Kansas City long snapper James Winchester has spent nine years playing alongside Kelce at Arrowhead, with the pair winning three Super Bowls together in that timeAccording to Winchester, his good friend Travis is definitely in it for the long haul with Taylor – so much so that he can already see them making things official.

When asked if he expects Kelce and Swift to get engaged somewhere down the line, he said on the Like a Farmer podcast: ‘Yeah, I can definitely see it. ‘I think they’re very similar in a lot of ways.

‘Being around Trav for the last nine years, I mean, I think they’re more similar than you would think. So I wish the best for them.

‘I’m gonna go with what our kicker Harrison Butker said, ‘I hope you guys get married and have a lot of kids.’ ‘So you know, I’m like hey go for it, have a family. I’m happy for them.’

Kelce and Swift have gone from strength to strength ever since the pop star publicly confirmed their romance by heading to Arrowhead for the first time back in September when Kansas City picked up a win over the Chicago Bears.

Eight months later love is still very much in the air for the super-couple, with Swift going on to attend plenty more of Kelce’s games throughout the season – including the Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl victory in Las Vegas.

Winchester also discussed Swift’s first appearance in Kansas City on the podcast, claiming Kelce was ‘smiling and blushing’ when he found out his now-girlfriend had arrived at Arrowhead.

‘I walked up to Trav in the game, we were on the sideline, and I said, “Hey man, that’s cool she’s here,”‘ he recalled.

‘And he’s like, “What do you mean? Did they put her up on the Jumbotron or something?”

‘And I’m like, “No, no, Jay [White, equipment manager] just told me. That’s awesome man, good for you.”

‘He just kind of smiled and was like blushing.’

Winchester admitted he thought ‘the whole thing was just made up’ before hearing that Swift had arrived to watch the game.

Later in the day, Kelce’s teammate – whose young son and daughter were also at Arrowhead that afternoon – had the chance to meet her himself.

Winchester recalled: ‘The first thing she said was, “Hey you’re the guy with the cute kids!”
