Było kilka minut po godz. 8, gdy do służb dotarło dramatyczne zgłoszenie. Na drodze między Sokołami a Jeżewem (woj. podlaskie) doszło do wypadku szkolnego autobusu i busa. Na miejscu trwała akcja ratunkowa. Wydawało się, że skończyło się na strachu. Niestety, tak się nie stało. Zginęła jedna osoba. Podano przejmujące przyczyny tragedii.
Piątkowy poranek, 9 maja. Na drodze między Sokołami i Jeżewem, na wysokości Pszczółczyna, zderzyły się szkolny autobus i bus. Dzieci jechały do szkoły w miejscowości Kobylin Borzymy. Trasa została zablokowana.

Kilka minut po ósmej dostaliśmy zgłoszenie o zderzeniu autobusu szkolnego, który przewoził dzieci, z busem. Do zdarzenia doszło na drodze pomiędzy Sokołami a Jeżewem. Na miejscu trwa akcja ratunkowa i udzielanie pomocy. Z informacji, które posiadam nie wynika, że któreś z podróżujących dzieci zostało ranne
