Jason Sudeikis Asks Travis Kelce When He’s ‘Going to Make an Honest Woman’ of Taylor Swift During Big Slick Skit
Jason Sudeikis wants to know where Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are heading next in their romance!
While in character for a skit during the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 1, the actor, 48, cheekily asked Kelce, 34, if there were wedding bells next for himself and Swift, 34In a video posted of the skit on X (formerly Twitter), Sudeikis, wearing a fake mustache, sunglasses and a cap, was joined by actors Robert Smigel and George Wendt, also in character, as well as Kelce as the group sat at a table.
The audience cheered loudly in response as Kelce — who sported a print shirt, black pants and black cap for the event — rubbed his beard and smiled in reaction to the question, though he didn’t make any comments.
“Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore,” Sudeikis continued in character. He then added: “I know your kicker agrees with me,” in what appeared to be a reference to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s recent controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic college. During the speech, Butker spoke out against working women.
Kelce and Swift went public with their romance in September 2023 when Swift first attended a Kansas City Chiefs game, which was followed by the couple holding hands when they left a Saturday Night Live afterparty in October.
While the two have kept generally private about their relationship, Kelce has talked about Swift in several interviews and Swift seemingly sings about Kelce in a number of songs on her new abum The Tortured Poets Department.
