Samolot z Sebastianem M. już w Polsce
W poniedziałek 26 maja o godzinie 19.15 w Polsce wylądował samolot linii Fly Dubai, którym miał lecieć Sebastian M. To właśnie w poniedziałek rozpoczęła się ekstradycja mężczyzny. Był konwojowany ze Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich i eskortowany przez funkcjonariuszy Biura Prewencji Komendy Głównej Policji. Jak już wcześniej pisaliśmy, po południu Sebastian M. wsiadł na pokład samolotu, który wystartował z lotniska w Dubaju. Służby Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich zatrzymały mężczyznę w piątek 23 maja. “Zatrzymanie odbyło się we współpracy z polską policją. Podejrzany w najbliższym czasie trafi do Polski i zostanie przekazany do dyspozycji prokuratury” – przekazała tego dnia policja.
Sebastian M. podejrzany o spowodowanie śmiertelnego wypadku
Sebastian M. jest podejrzewany o spowodowanie wypadku na autostradzie A1, w którym zginęła trzyosobowa rodzina. Adwokat rodziny ofiar Łukasz Kowalski przekazał, że Sebastian M. może być przesłuchiwany we wtorek 27 maja. Do wypadku doszło we wrześniu 2023 roku w okolicach Piotrkowa Trybunalskiego (woj. łódzkie). W wypadku zginęło małżeństwo oraz ich pięcioletni syn. Sebastian M. uciekł do Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich i był poszukiwany czerwoną notą Interpolu. Sebastian M. był już raz zatrzymany przez emirackie służby, ale wyszedł za kaucją. 9 stycznia 2025 roku Sąd Apelacyjny w Dubaju rozpatrzył wniosek polskiej prokuratury dotyczący jego ekstradycji. Stwierdzono, że “nie zachodzą przeszkody prawne do wydania Sebastiana M. polskim organom ścigania”. Mężczyzna odwołał się od tej decyzji, ale 7 maja Sąd Najwyższy Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich odrzucił jego odwołanie.
