Coco Gauff issues public message to her fans after finishing her Asian swing with the Wuhan Open title
Coco Gauff has returned home following another successful Asian swing, which ended with her winning the Wuhan Open.
Gauff defeated Jessica Pegula in the final of the Wuhan Open, the last WTA 1000 tournament of the season.
The former overcame the latter 6-4, 7-5, with Pegula congratulating Gauff on her success shortly after their battle.
World number three Gauff now has 11 WTA Tour titles to her name, three of which have arrived at WTA 1000 level.
She can now turn her focus to defending her trophy at the WTA Finals, which return to Riyadh next month.

Gauff also won the Beijing Open in 2024, with her latest success in Wuhan further boosting her popularity in the region.
Showing just how loved she is in China, Gauff shared images of fan gifts on her Instagram story, writing: “Finally made it home from China and unpacked my suitcase full of gifts from you guys. I just wanted to express my gratitude to all of the supporters I had while I was there.
Every thoughtful gift, every letter, words of encouragement, etc, truly, truly meant a lot! Especially being so far from home. Thank you, thank you. Until next time.”
