Billie Eilish calls out Elon Musk in explosive tirade, brands him ‘pathetic’ and a ‘coward’
This after the singer recently slammed billionaires on stage at an awards ceremony: “If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?”
Billie Eilish is not being shy about her feelings on Elon Musk.
The “Birds of a Feather” singer put the tech billionaire on blast in an explosive, expletive-filled tirade in a series of slides shared to her Instagram Stories Thursday. It began with a reshare of a My Voice, My Choice post that started with a headline, “Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire, here’s what he could do with it,” with a photo of Musk looking pensive.
The next three slides offered various world problems Musk could solve with some of his wealth with supporting data and dollar amounts required. Solutions he could be a part of include ending world hunger, saving endangered species, and rebuilding Gaza, Syria, and Ukraine, per the post.
Eilish’s latest missive comes after she slammed billionaires while she accepted the Music Innovator Award onstage at the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards on Oct. 29.
We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than, kind of, ever, especially in our country,” Eilish told the star-studded crowd, which included billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, as well as other wealthy celebs like Hailey Bieber, Spike Lee, George Lucas, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Tory Burch, Questlove, Karlie Kloss and more, per PEOPLE.
“I’d say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things, maybe give it to some people that need it,” she continued, adding, “Love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me. If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties.”

Putting her money where her mouth is, Eilish herself donated an eye-popping sum from her recent tour.
“I also have the privilege of breaking a little news tonight. Thank you, Billie, for allowing me to do this. It’s extraordinary,” Stephen Colbert, who introduced Eilish on stage at the event, told the crowd of the announcement.
