Anna Kurek (wtedy jeszcze Grejman) w listopadzie 2018 r. rozwiązała kontrakt z Chemikiem Police i potem przez kilka lat nie grała zawodowo w siatkówkę. Sportsmenka dla miłości zrezygnowała z kariery.
— To była nasza wspólna decyzja, która ją bardzo dużo kosztowała i myślę, że dalej kosztuje, ciężko jest coś takiego przerobić w swojej głowie ot tak.
