W praktyce oznacza to, że nie można agitować na rzecz kandydatów, publikować sondaży, rozpowszechniać materiałów wyborczych czy zwoływać zgromadzeń. Złamanie zakazu grozi grzywną — w przypadku publikacji sondaży to aż od 500 tys. zł do 1 mln zł.

Sobota, chwilę po szóstej rano. Na facebookowym profilu Arkadiusza Myrchy pojawia się kilka relacji, w których ten zachęca do głosowania na jednego z kandydatów. Nie umknęło to uwadze internautów i polityków. Po kilku godzinach Myrcha usunął ze swojego profilu wszystkie wpisy dodane w sobotę i opublikował na portalu X przeprosiny.
