Na takie wieści czekaliśmy! Mimo kompletnie nieudanej przygody w turnieju singlowym WTA 125 w Warszawie Weronika Falkowska ma powody do ogromnego zadowolenia. W parze z Dominiką Salkovą z Czech odniosła wspaniałe zwycięstwo w rywalizacji deblowej, gromiąc w finale Isabelle Haverlag i inną Polkę Martynę Kubkę 6:2, 6:1, tym samym broniąc zeszłorocznego tytułu.
Rywalizacja podczas turnieju WTA 125 w Warszawie rozpoczęła się dla Weroniki Falkowskiej kompletnie nieudanym meczem w pierwszej rundzie turnieju singlowego. Mimo wygrania pierwszego seta z Dominiką Salkovą 6:1, w dwóch kolejnych partiach uległa 5:7, 3:6 i bardzo szybko pożegnała się z rywalizacją. Jednak kilka godzin później, tym razem grając z Czeszką po jednej stronie siatki, przystąpiła do turnieju deblowego.
Pierwszymi rywalkami polsko-czeskiej pary były: Niemka Anna-Lena Friedsam i Francuzka Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah. Pierwszy set padł łupem rywalek, jednak w kolejnym Falkowska i Salkova zdołały odrobić straty, a ostatecznie w super tie-breaku wygrać 10:7.
