Ministerstwo Finansów (MF) sięga po pieniądze z tzw. poduszki płynnościowej, która ma zabezpieczać płynność budżetu państwa. Oznacza to, że resort finansów zaczyna wykorzystywać zgromadzone wcześniej rezerwy, aby pokryć bieżące wydatki. Jak zwraca uwagę “Puls Biznesu”, może to mieć związek z szybko rosnącym deficytem w budżecie, ponieważ podaż obligacji skarbowych, którymi zwykle finansuje się potrzeby pożyczkowe, nadal jest bardzo duża.
Z danych opublikowanych przez MF wynika, że na koniec kwietnia resort utrzymywał na rachunkach budżetowych 175 mld zł. Z comiesięcznych informacji ministerstwa wynika wyraźnie, że poduszka płynnościowa kurczy się już od dwóch miesięcy.
Według raportów MF wartość rezerwy, która stanowi zabezpieczenie płynności kasy państwa, była w kwietniu o 21 mld złotych mniejsza niż w marcu. Wyraźnie zmalała również w porównaniu do rekordu z lutego, kiedy to zaskórniak sięgnął 204 mld złotych.
Przyczyny kurczenia się rezerw – rosnący deficyt budżetowy
Eksperci wskazują na rosnący deficyt budżetowy jako główną przyczynę sięgania po rezerwy przez Ministerstwo Finansów. Deficyt, czyli różnica między wydatkami a dochodami państwa, w ostatnich miesiącach zaczął rosnąć w szybkim tempie.
