W Jasionce koło Rzeszowa zorganizowano konferencję CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference). Biorą w niej udział m.in. prezydent Andrzej Duda, sekretarz ds. bezpieczeństwa krajowego Stanów Zjednoczonych Kristi Noem czy też popierany przez PiS kandydat na prezydenta, Karol Nawrocki. — CPAC to taka reprezentacja konserwatywnej międzynarodówki pod amerykańskim patronatem. To, że ta konferencja odbywa się teraz w Polsce, w kampanii wyborczej tuż przed drugą turą, nie jest przypadkowe. Jej fundament buduje teraz ruch MAGA, który stał się konserwatywnym mainstreamem — tłumaczy w rozmowie z “Faktem” Magdalena Górnicka-Partyka, ekspertka ds. amerykańskich, autorka podcastu “Stan Wyborczy”, badaczka wizerunku Baracka Obamy.
Ta polityczna konferencja jest organizowana w Stanach Zjednoczonych od 1973 r. Ostatnie lata to czas, w którym przenosi się ona także do innych krajów, takich jak Węgry czy Polska. Współorganizatorem wydarzenia w woj. podkarpackim jest TV Republika. Co stoi dzisiaj za CPAC?
