Shawn Levy was asked about the chances of Taylor Swift appearing in his upcoming movie Deadpool & Wolverine, but didn’t provide an answer.

The director, 55, chat with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday at CinemaCon in Las Vegas following the convention’s Big Screen Achievement Awards

The Montreal, Canada native was asked about rumors linking Swift, 34, to the role of the Marvel Comics character Dazzler, after she was seen with him and the film’s stars Hugh Jackman, 55, and Ryan Reynolds, 47, at an NFL game October 1.

‘That is hardly confirmed nor denied in this interview,’ Levy, who past worked on the Netflix hit Stranger Things.

The director of films such as Free Guy, The Pink Panther and Cheaper by the Dozen referenced Reynolds in saying, ‘I’m going to literally walk about of the frame and save myself, otherwise Ryan’s taking a hit [out] on me.’
