Rośnie liczba incydentów oraz ataków na pracowników służby medycznej. Po tragicznym wydarzeniu w Krakowie, gdzie zginął lekarz, do kolejnego ataku doszło w Gdyni. Pijana 28-latka zaatakowała ordynatora, lekarkę i ratowniczkę medyczną. Jak się później okazało kobieta miała ponad 2 promile alkoholu we krwi i pozytywny wynik testu na narkotyki. Prokuratura podęła kroki w sprawie, a wobec podejrzanej zostały zastosowany dozór policyjny.

To już kolejny przypadek ataku na lekarza. Zaledwie kilka dnia temu w Krakowie zamordowany został ortopeda Dr Tomasz Solecki, który zginął z rąk pacjenta. Do kolejnego tego typu zdarzenia doszło w nocy z piątku na sobotę (2/3 maja) w Szpitalu św. Wincentego a Paulo w Gdyni. 28-letnia kobieta trafiła na Szpitalny Oddział Ratunkowy i fizyczne zaatakowała ordynatora oddziału, lekarkę oraz ratowniczkę medyczną. Sytuacja była na tyle poważna, że zaatakowani członkowie personelu zostali poddani badaniom diagnostycznym. Po czasie poinformowano, że obrażenia nie zagrażają życiu oraz zdrowiu. Na miejsce została wezwania policja. Jak przekazała kom. Jolanta Grunert z gdyńskiej policji, kobieta miała ponad dwa promile alkoholu w organizmie i uzyskała pozytywny wynik testu na obecność narkotyków. Dodatkowo pobrano jej krew do dalszych badań toksykologicznych. Kobieta została zatrzymana, a prokuratura wydała właśnie w tej sprawie oświadczenie.
