Royal commentator Ingrid Seward has hinted that Prince Harry’s recent spate of solo engagements is a deliberate effort to regain the affection of the public. Last month, Harry was spotted jetting solo to New York, London, and Southern Africa for causes he holds dear, while Meghan Markle shone alone at a children’s hospital gala wearing a standout red outfit and marked International Day of the Girl with young ladies.

It’s quite the change from when the couple were regularly seen together before they dramatically receded from Royal responsibilities. Speaking to The Sun, Seward offered her two cents: She believes the public can warm up to Harry again despite his critiques of Royal existence, stating, “but I don’t see the same thing for Meghan.”

She suggests that even though Harry might have cashed in millions from his tell-all book ‘Spare,’ it cost him dearly in terms of his reputation, particularly with his family and how he’s perceived by people, reports the Daily Record.
