Tragiczna śmierć policjanta z Wrocławia. Zmarł pod komendą
Aspirant sztabowy Andrzej Bar był w drodze na służbę. Miał mnóstwo planów na kolejny dzień i na kolejne lata swojego życia. Niestety, pod budynkiem Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji we Wrocławiu doszło do tragedii. Funkcjonariusz doznał zawału serca i zmarł. – Wykazywał się odwagą i zdecydowaniem – wspominają jego koledzy i koleżanki.

We wspomnieniu, opublikowanym na stronie KGP czytamy, że asp. szt. Andrzej Bar służbę w Policji rozpoczął 1 lipca 1991 r. w sekcji kryminalnej Komisariatu Policji Wrocław – Psie Pole. 8 lat później został mianowany na stanowisko kierownika referatu i sekcji kryminalnej Komendy Miejskiej Policji we Wrocławiu, a w 2007 r. pełnił służbę na odpowiedzialnym stanowisku specjalisty wydziału do zwalczania zorganizowanej przestępczości kryminalnej zarządu we Wrocławiu Centralnego Biura Śledczego Komendy Głównej Policji. Koniec XX i początek XXI wieku przyniósł kolejne wyzwania. Po ukończeniu kursu aspiranckiego w Szkole Policji w Pile w 2000 r., stróż prawa został mianowany na stopień młodszego aspiranta Policji.
– W trakcie służby sukcesywnie podwyższał swoje kwalifikacje, kończąc kurs negocjatora policyjnego w Centrum Szkolenia Policji w Legionowie oraz studia na Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim, uzyskując tytuł magistra – wspominają jego koledzy i koleżanki.
