Oto nowy papież, Leon XIV. Internauci dostrzegli coś niezwykłego. Chodzi o Jana Pawła II
Nowym papieżem został kardynał Robert Francis Prevost, który przyjął imię papieskie Leon XIV. Jest to pierwszy papież pochodzący z Stanów Zjednoczonych. Tuż po ogłoszeniu internauci od razu zauważyli niezwykłe, fizyczne podobieństwo nowego papieża do papieża Polaka, Jana Pawła II. Zgadzacie się?
Nowym papieżem został kardynał Robert Francis Prevost, który przyjął imię Leon XIV. Jego wybór odbył się 8 maja 2025 roku w wyniku konklawe, które zostało zwołane po śmierci poprzedniego papieża, Franciszka.
Wybór papieża ogłoszono w Watykanie, a tradycyjna ceremonia ogłoszenia wyboru odbyła się na Placu Świętego Piotra w Rzymie, gdzie zaprezentowano białą flagę, sygnalizującą wybór nowego papieża.

Oczy całego świata skierowane są na Watykan – kościół katolicki ma nowego papieża, a został nim kardynał Robert Prevost, który pochodzi ze Stanów Zjednoczonych. Wcześniej pełnił funkcję biskupa w Peru oraz był prefektem Dykasterii ds. Biskupów w Watykanie. Ma 70 lat, mówi w kilku językach – podczas swojego pierwszego przemówienia do wiernych użył m.in. hiszpańskiego, jest wielkim fanem tenisa.
Polscy wierni dostrzegli zaś jego fizyczne podobieństwo do papieża… Jana Pawła II.
