Paige Spiranac reveals Wyndham Clark’s lavish junior golf tournament arrivals
Golf icon Paige Spiranac revealed new insights into her childhood friend and fellow Colorado golf prodigy Wyndham Clark during a recent appearance on the Random Golf Club YouTube channel.
Spiranac, who rose to fame as a social media star after hanging up her clubs, has known Clark since they competed against each other in junior tournaments around their home state. On the podcast, she shared a hilarious anecdote about Clark’s arrivals to competitions when they were coming up through the ranks.
“He used to show up at junior golf tournaments in his dad’s Bentley,” Spiranac said.
Host Erik Anders Lang jokingly replied “No way, that’s…that’s rough.” But Spiranac confirmed Clark’s father Randall would often drop his son off in style, pulling up to events in one of his prized luxury vehicles.
She wrote on X: “Wyndham Clark and I grew up playing junior golf together in Colorado. Everyone would always say he had something special and we all knew he’d make it. Now he’s a major winner! Very cool moment”.
The podcast appearance isn’t the first time Spiranac has opened up about her history with Clark. After his breakthrough 2023 US Open victory, she congratulated him on social media and talked about their junior golf years.

Fans were quick to misconstrue her message as an attempt to steal Clark’s spotlight, but Spiranac clarified she was simply celebrating a friend achieving success after seeing his talents from a young age.
Clark has also spoken highly of his father’s influence on his career. Randall, a former professional tennis player, instilled a strong work ethic in his son and fueled his competitive fire. He was often the one accompanying Clark to tournaments in his early years.
“I was adding a personal note to show how cool it is to watch someone be successful at every step of their career and how he was always a standout player even back at age 13.”
While Spiranac has found fame through her online persona, Clark is now cementing his name as one of golf’s rising stars. But as this latest story reveals, even in their youth the seeds were sown for greatness – even if Clark took a slightly more lavish entrance along the way.
