We wtorek, 13 maja 2025 roku, 11-letnia Patrycja nie wróciła do domu po wizycie u dziadków w miejscowości Dziewkowice, położonej w pobliżu Strzelec Opolskich. Zaniepokojona rodzina zgłosiła zaginięcie dziewczynki, co skłoniło policję do podjęcia natychmiastowych działań poszukiwawczych.
W środę, 14 maja, policja zdecydowała się na uruchomienie systemu Child Alert w związku z zaginięciem Patrycji. System ten pozwala na szybkie rozpowszechnienie informacji o zaginionym dziecku za pośrednictwem mediów i innych kanałów komunikacji, co zwiększa szanse na jego odnalezienie.

W czwartek, 15 maja, około godziny 5:00 rano, opolscy policjanci odnaleźli 11-letnią Patrycję w jednym z mieszkań na terenie Śląska. Dziewczynka była cała i zdrowa.
