Donald Tusk otrzymał od prezydenta Turcji drogocenny podarunek, którego historia sięga roku 1745. Premier nie zgłosił jednak podarku do rejestru korzyści, mimo że termin już upłynął. Centrum Informacyjne Rządu tłumaczy zachowanie Tuska. Okazuje się jednak, że może mu za nie grozić kara.
Donald Tusk na portalu X opublikował zdjęcie “prezentu” otrzymanego od prezydenta Turcji Recepa Erdogana. Jest to list wysłany z Polski do wielkiego wezyra osmańskiego Sejjida Hasana Paszy w 1745 r. “Symbol pokoju i przyjaźni między naszymi narodami. Nadal aktualny” — napisał premier. W liście zawarte są podziękowania za działania na rzecz pokoju w Europie. Napisał go najprawdopodobniej wielki kanclerz Andrzej Stanisław Załuski.
Prezent od prezydenta Turcji z pewnością ma ogromną wartość historyczną, która wiąże się w tym przypadku także z wartością materialną. Ustawa o ograniczeniu prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej przez osoby pełniące funkcje publiczne głosi, że darowizny, których kwota przewyższa 50 proc. najniższego wynagrodzenia za pracę, muszą być zgłoszone do rejestru. Dokonać tego należy w przeciągu 30 dni od ich otrzymania.
