W czwartek odbyła się pierwsza konferencja prasowa z nowym selekcjonerem reprezentacji Polski Janem Urbanem. W trakcie spotkania wrócił temat zachowania piłkarzy, którzy po czerwcowej porażce z Finlandią nie wyszli do strefy mieszanej, by porozmawiać z przedstawicielami mediów. Jeden z dziennikarzy zapytał, czy po tej sytuacji PZPN zastanawia się nad jakimś systemowym rozwiązaniem. Głos zabrał rzecznik kadry. — Może ja wyjaśnię sytuację z Finlandii — zaczął Emil Kopański.
