In the photo, Simon, 64, was next to Sofia, 51, as the two smiled for the camera.

Both were bundled up, along with the group of people behind him.

The former American Idol judge wore a dark gray puffer jacket, while the Modern Family alum donned a plush black coat.

“Another amazing day of auditions @simoncowell,” Sofia captioned.

Fans in Sofia’s comment section that, of course, praised her for her beauty, were also preoccupied with Simon’s face.

“What happened to Simon’s face…,” one fan asked under the TV actress’ post.
