Sofia Vergara not happy with ex-husband Joe Manganiello’s new romance: Here’s why
has finally revealed what led to her split from ex-husband Joe Manganiello.
In an interview with Spanish outlet El País, the “Modern Family” star said that Manganiello, 47, wanted to expand their family, but Vergara was not interested in having more children.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids, and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” Vergara, 51, told the outlet. “I feel it’s not fair to the babyThe “Griselda” star, who already shares a 32-year-old son with her first husband, Joe Gonzalez, added that she was ready for the next phase of her life.
“I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother,” Vergara continued. “So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children.”
