Tyle Polki zarobiły za Euro 2025. To nie jest żart
Reprezentacja Polski wygrała na Euro 2025 nagrody o wysokości 1,9 mln euro. Zwycięzca kobiecego ME otrzymał 5 mln euro. To prawie dwa razy mniej niż męska reprezentacja Polski na Euro 2024.
Reprezentacja Anglii obroniła złoty medal mistrzostw Europy, po tym, jak pokonała w rzutach karnych Hiszpanię 3:1. Po 120 minutach gry był remis 1:1. Zakończył się zatem najważniejszy turniej piłki nożnej kobiet w tym roku. Tegoroczna edycja była pierwszym wielkim turniejem, na który pojechały reprezentantki Polski.
Polskie piłkarki zakończyły rozgrywki na etapie fazy grupowej. Przegrały 0:2 z Niemkami i 0:3 ze Szwedkami, ale w meczu o honor pokonały Dunki 3:2. W każdym meczu to przeciwniczki były zdecydowanymi faworytkami, więc trzecie miejsce i jedno zwycięstwo można odbierać jako dobry wynik.

Koniec mistrzostw to również czas podsumowań i portal The Swiss Ramble opracował zestawienia nagród finansowych, jakie otrzymały konkretne federacje. Już wcześniej było wiadomo, że za samą kwalifikację na turniej każda z 16 drużyn otrzymała po 1,8 mln euro. W fazie grupowej za zwycięstwo każda reprezentacja dostawała 100 tys. euro, a remis to 50 tys. euro. Polki zarobiły zatem 1,9 mln euro. Gdyby awansowały do ćwierćfinału, zgarnęłyby dodatkowe 550 tys. euro.

Półfinał to nagroda rzędu 700 tys. euro, przegrany w finale otrzymał 850 tys. euro, a zwycięzca 1,75 mln euro. W rezultacie Angielki zdobyły 5 mln euro, co jest rekordową kwotą. Pula nagród (41 mln euro) względem poprzednich mistrzostw się podwoiła i jest pięć razy większa niż w 2017 r.
