Potem gdy już wszedł za Tomasza Fornala, momentalnie zmniejszył straty reprezentacji Polski niesamowitą serią na zagrywce.
Tie-break był już niemalże teatrem jednego aktora. Prędkości jego zagrywek sięgały nawet 130 km na godz. Leon pojawił się w polu serwisowym przy wyniku 8:4, a zszedł z niego dopiero przy rezultacie 12:4.
Efektem finalnym było 14 pkt zdobytych przez Leona. Skończył on 9 z 11 ataków, notując skuteczność 82 proc. i dodał do tego pięć asów serwisowych. Również w przyjęciu świetnie się spisał, notując w tym elemencie 71 proc. dokładności.
