Travis Kelce shares cost of Taylor Swift suite at Super Bowl in new Netflix show

Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce has revealed that he parted with a seven-figure sum for a suite for girlfriend Taylor Swift and his family and friends at the Super Bowl LVIII.
The NFL tight end is the highest paid player in his position in the league’s history and will earn $34 million over the next two years after signing a contract extension recently. The 34-year-old’s wealth came in handy as he splashed the cash back in February to ensure that his loved ones were present to witness him earning a third Super Bowl ring of his career.
His “Love Story” hitmaker beau attended the showpiece at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, doing so in style as she cheered on her boyfriend from a VIP box. Having been present at 13 games last season, she was joined in the stands by friends Ice Spice and Blake Lively, alongside Donna and Jason Kelce.
Now, Chiefs icon Kelce has revealed that the VIP box that his entourage packed out in Sin City earlier this year set him back an eye-watering sum. Speaking on Netflix series “Receiver”, he discussed the subject with San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle as he confirmed that the boxes were listed for “three million dollars”.
In the case of Kittle, he decided not to splash the cash on a box as he asserted that he felt that his family and friends would be “fine” watching on with the punters in the stand. Previous to this exchange, Kelce had confessed that he had to do some soul searching over the cost of the box in the lead up to the Super Bowl.
Speaking on his “New Heights” podcast, he acknowledged: “I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money.”
His mom Donna even admitted that she was unsure if she would be in a box for her son’s big day, telling the TODAY show: “Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars so I have a feeling I’m not in a box. I have a feeling I am in the stands. As far as I know I am in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
