Nowe informacje w sprawie pożaru hali przy ul. Baczyńskiego w Sosnowcu. Państwowa Straż Pożarna przekazała w niedzielę rano, że ogień został opanowany i już się nie rozprzestrzenia. Na miejscu wciąż pracuje jednak ponad 170 strażaków.
Zgłoszenie o pożarze służby otrzymały w sobotę przed godz. 21. Ogień pojawił się w hali przy ul. Baczyńskiego w Sosnowcu, gdzie mieści się magazyn makulatury, w którym przechowywane były opakowania tekturowe.
Komenda Główna Państwowej Straży Pożarnej poinformowała w niedzielę po godz. 7, że po kilku godzinach walki z żywiołem sytuacja została opanowana i pożar już się nie rozprzestrzenia.
Teraz zadaniem strażaków jest dogaszanie, które potrwa jeszcze wiele godzin. W działania zaangażowanych jest ponad 170 strażaków” — podano w komunikacie.

Z ustaleń RMF FM wynika, że nie ma osób poszkodowanych. Służby wykonały już też badania powietrza, które nie wykazały zagrożenia dla okolicznych mieszkańców.
W sobotę wieczorem, jeszcze przed przybyciem służb ratunkowych, z hali zostali ewakuowani pracownicy.
