Podczas finału Eurowizji hiszpańskie jury nie przyznało ani jednego punktu izraelskiej reprezentantce, Yuval Raphael. Zupełnie inaczej wyglądały wyniki głosowania widzów. Oglądający przyznali Izraelowi najwyższą możliwą ocenę — 12 pkt.
Hiszpański nadawca publiczny RTVE poprosił EBU o raport, przedstawiający dane z głosowania publiczności. Przesłane w niedzielę materiały informowały, że w noc wielkiego finału EBU otrzymała 7 tys. 283 telefony, 23 tys. 840 SMS-ów i 111 tys. 565 głosów online, natomiast podczas pierwszego półfinału 774 telefony, 2 tys. 377 SMS-ów i 11 tys. 310 głosów online.
Raport ten pokazuje jednak tylko ilość oddanych głosów, bez ich podziału pomiędzy kraje. Właśnie dlatego w najbliższy poniedziałek RTVE poprosi o szczegółowy audyt — podaje El Pais. Portal poinformował, że według RTVE inne kraje również zwrócą się o podobne audyty do EBU.
