Trzeciego gracza na naszym rynku kupi Erste Group i łącznie z udziałami w TFI zapłaci około 30 mld zł, co oznacza największą transakcję w historii polskiej bankowości. Jego szefowie wypowiadali się w poniedziałek o wpływie sytuacji politycznej w Polsce na rynek bankowy, dotychczasowych dokonaniach zarządu i planach dotyczących przejmowanego brandu.

To będzie największa transakcja w historii polskiego sektora bankowego. W sumie Austriacy zapłacą 7 mld euro, czyli około 30 mld zł według obecnego kurs euro na poziomie 4,27 zł. Dla porównania przejęcie 32,8 proc. akcji wspólnie przez PZU i Pekao kosztowało “tylko” 10,6 mld zł.
Szefowie Erste Group uzasadniają transakcję
Przedstawiając argumenty za transakcją przedstawiciele Erste Group wskazywali, że Polska to duży rynek, a nasza gospodarka rozwiała się najszybciej w regionie. Wskazali, że wskaźnik ubankowienia jest niski (mało kredytów w stosunku do PKB), a SBP to dobry punkt startowy, trzeci gracz na polskim rynku i największy prywatny bank.
